Trust

These knees that tremble,

this heart that’s restless.

What does faith mean?

What does dependence mean?

I worry.

I’m worried.

But Your words don’t return void.

You clothe the lily of the valley, You see the sparrow fall, and You know the number of hairs on my head.

Your plans are to prosper and not to bring harm.

Hold me so I’ll stop shaking.

Hide me in the shelter of Your wings.

I Peter 1:8-9

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
